Carlisle's LGBTQ+ venue, a cabaret bar with drag nights and a Thursday cheap night, and by its own description the only recognised LGBTQ-friendly bar in the city; CAMRA's shorter version was a gay bar, all welcome. It was at 77-79 English Street, in the Lowther Arcade, in premises with a long pub history: the Citadel Tavern from the 1920s, then Yates Wine Lodge from 1986, then Annabel's from 2008, before this venue took over around 2010; one record starts it in May 2015, which may be a later licensee.

CAMRA had it closed long term from 31 October 2019, and the other record gives 14 November 2019. That last part is why its loss reads differently from the other closures here. When most pubs shut there's another of the same kind down the road. When this one shut there wasn't.
