Where exactly
Placed on English Street from the position of pubs still standing there. Somewhere on this street, not this doorway

Carlisle's LGBTQ+ venue, a cabaret bar with drag nights and a Thursday cheap night, and by its own description the only recognised LGBTQ-friendly bar in the city. The building has a long pub history before it: the Citadel Tavern from the 1920s, then Yates Wine Lodge from 1986, then Annabel's from 2008, before this venue took over in 2010. That last part is why its loss reads differently from the other closures here. When most pubs shut there's another of the same kind down the road. When this one shut there wasn't. No confirmed closing date has been published.
