On the scheme's 1920 roll of Carlisle pubs and almost nothing else. No opening date, no closing date, no photograph and no recorded reason for going. It stood among the tight network of alleys and courts behind Scotch Street known as "the Lanes", cleared after the war — the same area covered by the Co-Curate/Geograph record of the Lanes, alongside The Gleaner Inn on Old Grapes Lane.
