A speakeasy-styled bar over two floors inside the Lowther Arcade, done out with period prints and easy-listening music on the theory that people might want to hear each other.
The arcade itself dates from 1904 and keeps its stone frontage and covered walk between Lowther Street and English Street. The units have held bars for years: Circle Café Bar from 2002, then Molly's Speakeasy from May 2016 to April 2019, and Morgan's since December 2021.
The unusual part is what's happened since. The owner has been livestreaming from behind the bar on TikTok, and by early 2026 some Friday and Saturday nights were drawing up to five thousand people watching at once — from the States, Canada, France and the Canaries — into a room that holds about sixty. There is no other pub in Carlisle with an international audience watching it live.
