- Address
- Unit 8, Englishgate Plaza
Unit 8 of Englishgate Plaza has been three things and the smallest of them is what is there now. Terminal, sometimes Terminal 1, was a four hundred capacity nightclub: cheese, commercial, funky house, R&B and chart, which is an honest description of a Carlisle Saturday. The same unit is also listed elsewhere as the English Gate Plaza Live Music Lounge, capacity 450, running nine at night until four in the morning.
Rouge holds Unit 8 today and is a small club. It stood alongside the Las Vegas Strip, which had Units 8 and 8A, so this end of the plaza was carrying two large late venues at once in the early 2010s. A forum thread from the time has someone listing what was left in the city and noting that Terminal 1 was still open while others had gone.
