Where exactly
Placed on Botchergate from the position of pubs still standing there. Somewhere on this street, not this doorway

George Watt, born at Eamont, was innkeeper in 1891. This may be the same pub as the Queen Adelaide, which traded under the shortened names "Queen's" and "Queen" -- but the Queen Adelaide's own address is given as 142 Botchergate against this pub's 130, close enough to be a mis-transcribed number but not close enough to merge safely. Kept as a separate entry pending a clearer directory citation.
