Lost pub ยท Main Street, Brampton
The Coach and Horses
- Gone
- Gone from the records after 1901
- There now
- Unknown
- Address
- 87 Main Street, Brampton
- Where exactly
- On Main Street, Brampton. The exact spot isn't known, so the pin marks the town centre, not the building. The position is approximate.
On Brampton's Main Street, at number 87, and a house with three names: the Ship from about 1816, the Punchbowl from 1822 and the Coach and Horses from 1834. It was closed by the magistrates in 1901, and some records place it on Back Street. Not the Coach & Horses at Kingstown, which is still trading.
