- Where exactly
- On Front Street, Brampton. The exact spot isn't known, so the pin marks the town centre, not the building. The position is approximate.
A Brampton inn and a tied house of the Brampton Old Brewery. Mike Tuer's records put it on Main Street, with a history back before 1755, and have it lasting until 1903; another record has Front Street, from about 1813 to 1901. It is a house now. Distinct from the Blue Bell Inn on Rickergate and the Blue Bell Hotel on Scotch Street in Carlisle itself.
