A beerhouse on Corporation Road from 1855. The 1861 census gives Mary Kelly, aged 66 and born in Ireland, as beerhouse keeper. Not the White Cow/White Ox on Blackfriars Street, which went on to become the Masons Arms and then the Queen, nor the further White Cow this archive holds on Cobden Street.
