A nineteenth-century country house on the Longtown road, five minutes' walk from Brampton's market square, run for years as the Kirby Moor Country House Hotel with the Bella Vista restaurant attached and a bar open to non-residents. It was on the Hadrian's Wall Path accommodation list, run by Craig Forrest and Janelle Haak, with stabling, grazing and horsebox parking for riders. It was licensed before the 2005 changeover, which carried its licence across under grandfather rights that November.
The licence was suspended in November 2015 for an unpaid annual fee, and was finally surrendered with effect from 20 October 2025, the cancellation completed that November. It has also dropped off the Brampton hotel listings.
