- On Collier Lane. The exact spot isn't known, so the pin marks the street, not the building.
A much later and shorter-lived pub than the other Railway Tavern, at 21 Botchergate, better known as the Golden Quoit, which carried the Railway Tavern name from 1861 and closed in 1916 or 1917, nearly sixty years before this one is thought to have opened. This one traded from around 1974 to about 1995, and is also recorded under the name Platform 1. Collier Lane runs behind Botchergate, and the William Rufus records a bar called Platform One on the ground at its back, turned into the pub's beer garden in 2014, very likely this same place; Solway CAMRA's magazine reported the derelict bar demolished for that work in the summer of 2014.
