A separate, shorter-lived pub from the much better-documented Fox & Hounds on Rickergate, on Jollie's Lane off Scotch Street. In the local directory for 1829 and gone by 1837. The building later belonged to the Carlisle New Brewery, by the 1890s, though what stood in it by then -- pub, store, or something else entirely -- has not been established.
