- Jollie's Lane, later Crown and Anchor Lane, ran off Scotch Street. The exact spot isn't known, so the pin marks Scotch Street, not the building.
On Jollie's Lane off Scotch Street, the lane later renamed after the Crown and Anchor. It was trading before 1829, when Joseph Graham kept it, and probably by 1811, when Jollie's directory has Joseph Graham as an innkeeper in 'Jollie's-lane, Scotch-street'. It was gone by 1837: a separate, shorter-lived pub from the Fox & Hounds on Rickergate. The building later belonged to the Carlisle New Brewery, by the 1890s, though what it was used for by then is not recorded.
