The Bridge Inn

A beerhouse rather than a full public house, and it barely made it into print: the local directories carry it for 1858 and no longer. It was advertised to let that January. The 1861 census records Robert Irving, aged 43 and from Longtown, as an innkeeper at 3 Solway Terrace, which may or may not be the same premises under a different address.

Know anything about this one?

What's above is everything on file, and it isn't much. If you drank in it, or your family did, or you've a photograph of it, that's more than the records hold.
