- On Central Avenue. The exact spot isn't known, so the pin marks the street, not the building.
It began as a cinema. The building on Central Avenue, Harraby, was the Cosmo from the early 1960s until about 1990, and is probably the venue remembered as the Cosmo Club: both are recorded as demolished in December 2003. It then reopened as the Avenue, traded for a time as the Jailhouse, closed in May 2001 and was demolished in December 2003. A pub that was a cinema first is not unusual in itself, but this one's run was short: ten years of drinking, and gone.

An unsolved mystery
Were the Avenue on Central Avenue and the Cosmo Club at Harraby the same building? Both began as cinemas, both carried the Cosmo name and both were demolished in December 2003.
