Bar and restaurant just over Eden Bridge at the foot of Stanwix, cocktails and a kitchen that gets consistently good notices. Generous plates, attentive service, a proper drinks list.
It's a modern independent rather than a heritage pub — no listing and no State Management link. It sits among the Stanwix venues on the road north, with the Crown & Thistle and the Crown Inn a few minutes up the hill.
