On Hewson Street, from around 1901, when James Layden was innkeeper. Very likely the same house as The London & North Western Railway on James Street -- Hewson Street and James Street meet in the Wapping district, and a separately-held pub database ties that pub to this address under two earlier names again, the Hat & Feathers (1854-65) and St Stephens Inn (1865-74), built around 1845 and Grade II listed (list entry 4953).

That same database has it closed for flooding from 4 December 2015 to 16 April 2016 -- which sits awkwardly against this archive's own closing date of 1938 for the London & North Western Railway entry, taken from a different source. Either the 1938 date is wrong, or a pub reopened later under a name this archive hasn't traced; not resolved here, and the two entries are kept separate rather than merged until it is.
