Joiners Arms
Dates back to the middle of the eighteenth century, making it one of the oldest pubs in the city, and was later part of the State Management Scheme. Badly affected by the Carlisle floods.
One of the oldest surviving pubs in Carlisle, on Church Street in Caldewgate. Much of the original eighteenth-century brickwork is still there under modern render.
